Removal of EDO urged

NAWABSHAH, Feb 1: Members of the All-Sindh Education Department Lower Staff Association, the Primary Teachers’ Association, Sindh Professors and Lecturers’ Association, and the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal on Saturday staged a rally to protest against the EDO (education), Sukkur, Rafia Naz Pathan.

The rally started from the union office and terminated at the local press club.

Speaking on the occasion, Abdul Wahab Dur accused EDO Rafia Naz Pathan of humiliating the lower staff and said that the association had demanded of the removal of the EDO, but higher authorities had so far taken no action.

Reiterating the demand for the removal of the EDO, he also called for the removal of the treasury officer, Dadu.

They also demanded for the release of lower staff besides calling for withdrawal of cases against them.
