LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday accepted the bail request of 13 suspects involved in the Badami Bagh tragedy whereas it dismissed the bail application of four others, DawnNews reported.

The accused were presented before an anti-terrorism court in Lahore amidst high security.

After hearing the arguments by both the counsels, the court accepted the bail request of 13 suspects and dismissed four others.

The Badami Bagh tragedy occurred on March 9 when an enraged mob torched dozens of houses located in a Christian-dominated neighbourhood of Lahore following allegations of blasphemy against a Christian man.
