Asia Cup hockey

ISLAMABAD, April 10: Pakistan will participate in the ninth men’s Asia Cup hockey tournament which will be held from Aug 24 to Sept 1 in Ipoh, Malaysia.

A press release issued by the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) on Wednesday said the Asian Hockey Federation (AHF) had released two groups for the continental event with the approval of the International Hockey Federation (FIH).

Group ‘A’ consists of Pakistan, Malaysia, Japan and Chinese-Taipei while group ‘B’ comprises South Korea, India, Oman and Bangladesh.

The matches schedule will be released later on after the FIH approval.—Sports Reporter
