GHOTKI taluka hospital, which is the oldest hospital in the district, has been providing medical facilities to the people of Ghotki and far-flung areas.

One of the valuable health services provided by the hospital is its dialysis centre which has benefited a lot of kidney patients from the district.

Unfortunately, the hospital’s dialysis centre has been non-functional for quite some time due to financial strains and some technical reasons.

Because of this situation, kidney patients are suffering badly and in case of an emergency they have to rush to Sukkur or Gambat, travelling hundreds of kilometres.

I appeal to the Sindh ministry of health to take notice of the issue and make the dialysis centre functional to facilitate kidney patients of Ghotki and its surrounding areas.
