LAHORE, March 30: Mohammad Ahmed will face Mian Bilal in the boys’ final while Noor Malik will clash with Mahnoor Ali in the girls’ decider of the first Malik Mubarik Ali Memorial Junior Tennis Championships here on Friday.

Mohammad Ahmed defeated Shoaib Akbar 6-3, 6-2 in the first semi-final while Bilal beat Saad Zafar 6-2, 6-7, 6-3.

Meanwhile Noor stormed into the final crushing Miraal Zafar 6-0, 6-2 and will meet Mahnoor Ali, who got a walkover.

Results: Boys’ U-18: Semi-finals: Mohammad Ahmed bt Shoaib Akbar 6-3, 6-2; Mian Bilal bt Saad Zafar 6-2, 6-7, 6-3.

Girls’ U-18: Semi-finals: Noor Malik bt Miraal Zafar 6-0, 6-2; Mahnoor Ali got walk over against Anum. —Sports Reporter
