KARACHI, Jan 28: The Sindh Cultural Heritage has approved the issuance of an NOC for renovation of Gulzar Manzil, a protected heritage, on Plot No 50, Napier Quarters.

The advisory committee of the department, which met here under the chairmanship of chief secretary K. B. Rind decided to issue the NOC on a request by the Bank Al-Falah.

It also reviewed the issue of Palia House for its delisting and decided to seal the building and to demolish it later on.

It allowed the request of KBCA to issue an NOC for regularization of existing ground floor of the office of the Wild Life Management Board (Masonic Lodge).

The meeting acquired a comprehensive report and work-plan in respect of the appeal of the Bureau of Curriculum and Extension Wing for issuance of an NOC for repair and renovation of the Government Elementary College for Education (Men) Hyderabad (Training College for Men/Women, Tilak Incline Hyderabad).

Approbation was also accorded about de-notification of the Sindh Zamindar Hotel Building on Plot No.4, RS-7, Rambagh Quarters Karachi. The meeting also approved the issuance of NOC to the military secretary to the governor for extension in accommodation for CPLC/CRC.

The meeting was also attended by KBCA chairman Brig. S.A. Nasir, communications secretary Masood-ur- Rahman Masood, Architect & Planning Consultant Arif Hassan and other concerned officials.—APP
