SHEIKHUPURA, Nov 25: Six students of the Government Degree College were booked on Sunday for firing on the campus.

Members of two student groups clashed with one another on the campus on Friday. More than a dozen members of Tanvir group gathered at the college compound and opened indiscriminate fire, causing harassment and panic on the campus.

On the complaint of college principal, A Division police registered a case under terrorism act against Tanvir (roll No 495), Zaheer (roll No 1280), Farrukhullah (roll No 1042), Asif s/o Ishaq and some other outsiders.

Further investigations were underway.

CARS, BIKES TAKEN AWAY: Four motorcycles and three cars were drove away from different parts of the district on Sunday.

Abdul Sattar had parked his motorcycle (SAD 7175) outside the Karamat Market. He found the motorcycle missing when he returned after sometime.

Another motorcycle (SAE 326) of Sarfraz was stolen from Gol Masjid area on Khalid Road.

Two robbers took away a motorcycle (LXP 9481) from Canada Colony in Nankana Sahib early on Sunday.

Police have registered the case against Asif and his unidentified accomplice.

Another two robbers driven away with a car (LOP 7300) on Gujranwala Road on Saturday night.

Police registered the case on the complaint of the car owner.
