KARACHI, March 3: Three people — a police head constable, a motorway police officer and a cashier — were shot dead by unidentified gunmen at a motorway police kiosk on the Superhighway on Sunday, police said.

They said that three men on a motorcycle arrived at the motorway police kiosk and opened fire on the people sitting there and fled after the shooting.

Head constable Mohsin posted at the Sachal police station, motorway police officer Shamim and kiosk cashier Allah Bukash died on the spot, they added.

The police said that the shooting took place at the motorway police kiosk near the Burraq petrol station.
