Healthy Lifestyles Awareness Day
Lo and behold! On 17th February, We celebrate Healthy Lifestyles Awareness Day!
You would have often heard this saying of health, That 'health is wealth'!
Indeed it is, To keep healthy we should follow a long list.
The acts of ours in daily life, Affect our lifestyle.
Our manners and speech, How we eat and sit on a seat, How we drive, All affect our lifestyle!
We should adopt a healthy lifestyle, So that we can lead a happy life!

Honesty
Telling the truth is honesty, Honesty is sincerity, It is being trustworthy, Honesty is the best policy, Honesty comes first in wisdom, That’s why a man is known by his customs, An honest man gains a reputation for being truthful, For which many people are wishful, Telling the truth helps us feel peaceful, An honest man is never fearful, The one who is truthful, Is always respectful, Please stop telling lies, Or you’ll face many cries, One falsehood spoils a thousand truths, So always be true to your work, word and friends, And that’s how my poem ends!

Tribute to my mother
My mother is like a thick tree for me, Whose shadow protects me, Through thick or thin.
She gives me courage, When I feel sad, She brings out my best, When I feel bad.
She guides me in trouble, And gives me solace, When I am sick.
Without you I am nothing, For me you are everything!

When I will be a 100 years old When I will be a 100 years old, I will have a stick to hold. My hair will be all white, But I will keep half of them rolled. There will be lots of wrinkles on my face, But I will remain brave and bold. My body will be fragile and weak, And in winters I will feel very cold. I will spend my evenings in the park, And carry a chair that can fold. I will take care of my grandchildren, And tell them stories that my grandmother told. I will be all over the news, For being a 100 years old! Fareha Kashif Shamim, 7 years, Karachi i
