ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) on Tuesday announced new CNG prices. In region one the CNG price has been increased by Rs12.80 per kilogram, while in region two the price has been raised by Rs11.62 per kilogram.

The decision was taken during a meeting of Economic Coordination Committees (ECC) sub-body that is headed by Law Minister Farooq H Naek.

Speaking to the media Ogra Chairman Saeed Khan said that prices for region one will be 74.44 rupees per kilogram and for region two 65.78 rupees per kilogram.

Ogra reduced CNG prices after the Supreme Court announced a short verdict on CNG and petrol price assessment case, directing the authority to put forward a new formula while keeping the consumers interests in mind.
