After recording two resounding victories in the 2012 Asian Champions Trophy, Pakistan were held to a last-minute 3-3 draw by a fighting Malaysia in Doha, Qatar.

Malaysia took the lead in the 20th minute through an own goal to stun the Champions League bronze medal winners. The Greenshirts, however, took just a minute to restore parity with Muhammad Rizwan Sr smashing in a clean strike to make it one-all.

Malaysia went ahead once again through Faisal Saari 43 minutes into the match.

In a hard-fought encounter, four-time World Cup winners Pakistan bounced back to score two goals in the 55th and 57th minute from Muhammad Waqas to take the lead.

A late strike from Jalil Abdul, however, meant that the two teams shared the spoils and kept Malaysia in the hunt for a place in the final.

In its fourth match, Pakistan will take on India in what will no doubt be the biggest game of the event.
