KARACHI: KU announces BEd results

KARACHI, Jan 12: The University of Karachi has declared the results of BEd morning and evening annual examinations.

As many as 1,011 candidates had appeared in BEd (morning) examinations, out of whom 783 were declared pass. The pass percentage remained 77.44.

The pass percentage for BEd (evening) first-year examination was 69.77, while for the BEd (evening) second-year it was 70.68. Of the 245 candidates of the evening course, 167 were declared pass.

In the BEd (morning) exams, five candidates were placed in the first three positions. Afshan, seat No 2247, of Jamia Millia College of Education, and Bushra Yasmeen, seat No 2524, of Govt College of Education, shared the first position by securing 985 marks each, out of 1300.

The second position was shared by Mohammad Gufar (2015) of PAF College of Education, and Saima Rahim, (2228), of Jamia Millia College. Shazia, seat No 2251, of Jamia Millia College got third position.
