ISLAMABAD, Nov 23: The capital police have arrested 14 outlaws from different parts of the city and recovered vehicles, narcotics, weapons and other looted items from them, a police spokesman said on Friday.

He said the Bani Gala police had caught two car snatchers red handed and recovered a 30-bore pistol from them.

The culprits booked the taxi and when reached Kinara Restaurant, they asked the driver to stop the vehicle. They help up the driver at gunpoint and asked to hand the keys.

However, the driver – Adnan Abbasi – sought help after seeing police patrol, which rescued him and arrested the culprits. Likewise, the Industrial Area police recovered a motorcycle from an auto-thief.

Similarly, the Golra police intercepted two persons on suspicion at checkpoint in Sadat Colony and during their search recovered over two kilogarmme hashish.

The Golra police raided an oil shop in G-13/4 in response to a tip-off that fuel, stolen from the official vehicles, was selling there and arrested two persons, besides seizing 35 liter of diesel and seven liters of patrol.

The Nilor police recovered 110grams of hashish from a man and arrested him.

The Shahzad Town and Kural police arrested two persons separately and recovered a 30-bore pistol and a 32-bore revolver from them. The Lohi Bher police arrested three persons and recovered two 9mm pistol and 20 bullets along with an iron punch from them.
