KARACHI: Karachi West Zone police on Tuesday arrested two alleged target killers involved in sectarian violence and recovered weapons and drugs from their possession, DawnNews reported.

One of the suspects, identified as Shoaib, was arrested from Peerabad locality and according to police is allegedly involved in killing of a police official as well as in targeted killing of sectarian nature in the metropolis.

In another raid by the West Zone police, Zafar alias Amma was arrested from Khamisa Goth. The arrested confessed during the interrogation that he was involved in targeted killing of ten people and in firing on an office of a political party.

Moreover, the DIG west told the media that in different raids 81 suspects have been arrested in last two weeks, adding that 98 pistols, riffles and large quantity of drugs were also recovered from the raids.
