Jobs in Turbat

Published November 14, 2012

RECENTLY it was frustrating to see the vacancy list of the industrial department of Turbat. Three months earlier, tests were conducted for vacancies at the DCO’s office in Turbat but it hurts to state that the ones who did not apply for the test have now been selected.

According to an estimate, some 400 jobs have been given to people who appeared in the testand reportedly are not even literate.

Furthermore, there is no rule of law. Everybody is involved in exploiting whatever they can. The authorities are not sincere to recruiting on merit as there is no merit.

Well-educated and competent people are being deprived of such jobs, which is creating frustration and a sense of dejection among genuine candidates.

Nepotism and favouritism are on the rise and there is no good governance to resolve the issues of the deserving people of the province. I had also appeared for the test but was asked to contact ministers to get a job. I request the authorities concerned to address these issues to bring prosperity in Turbat.
