The 17-year-old victim was identified as Fauzia Solangi.

The accused, Sajan Solangi, surrendered with the gun, used in the crime, at the Machiyoon police post.

TREES: Some unidentified armed men damaged four electricity transformers with gunfire and chopped down mango and banana trees on three acres in Ulra Jagir near Piryaloi on Saturday night.

The mango orchard belonged to Abdul Karim Bhutto.
