LARKANA, Oct 29: A PML-N worker was killed while another was wounded in a gun attack on a restaurant near the Chandka bridge here on Monday.

One day before the attack, victim Asadullah Bhutto, 30, and the wounded man, Babar Solangi, 28, had a heated argument with some members of the Jagirani clan at a CNG station.

On Monday armed men of the Jagirani clan opened fire, killing Asadullah and leaving Babar wounded, said police.

The firing created panic in the area.

The Waleed police detained five persons, including a police head constable Altaf Jagirani, along with repeaters said to have been used in the crime.

Masood, Imtiaz, Fida Hussain and Barkat Jagirani were also picked up in the case for investigation.
