Bulgarian coach for lifters

ISLAMABAD, Jan 3: The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB), on the recommendation of the weightlifting federation, is acquiring the services of Bulgarian coach Alexander Marinov again, says a press release.

Marinov trained the Pakistani lifters in the past who benefited greatly from his coaching. He is now due to arrive on Jan 11 in Islamabad.

Meanwhile, a coaching camp in preparation for the forthcoming SAF Games is in progress at the Pakistan Sports Complex, the release said.

The following players are in training:

Ishtiaq Ghafoor, Muhammad Ali, Shahbaz Abdullah Butt, Khurrum Shahzad, Awais, Shujauddin Malik, Wasif Hanif Butt, Ali Aslam, Hassan Aslam, Tanveer Ahmed, Kashif Hanif Butt and Sajjad Amin.
