KARAK, Oct 25: Former provincial minister and leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N Fareed Toofan has alleged that several political parties have turned into business entities. He added Pakistan People’s Party had ruined the economy.

He was addressing a public meeting here on Thursday. Over a dozen families joined the PML-N on the occasion.

The PML-N leader said PPP and ANP were responsible for the unprecedented price hike and added the poor people had become fed up with the rulers. He regretted that the prices of oil and gas were being fixed on weekly basis which was a joke with the poor masses. He alleged the decisions on the economy were being taken somewhere else.

Mr Toofan further alleged the ANP had destroyed the peace of the province, claiming that the PML-N believed in the selfless service of the masses while rejecting the politics over selling employments and contracts. He alleged that provincial minister of ANP Mian Nisar Gul had wasted precious funds of oil and gas royalty on petty projects like installation of hand pumps and pressure pumps benefiting his blue eyed people. Speaking on the occasion, PML-N provincial general secretary and former district nazim Rehmat Salam Khattak claimed that the PML-N had become the most popular party of the country.
