KARACHI, Oct 21: Fire erupted in a towel factory in New Karachi Industrial Area Sunday but was put out after three hours. Fortunately, no casualty was reported however, the factory has suffered a little damage. A duty officer at the central fire station said that the fire broke out around noon. Initially two fire tenders were dispatched to the scene, but after a while more vehicles had to be sent. It took around three hours to douse the fire. Some walls in the factory had to be broken down to extinguish the fire. —Staff Reporter
