Punjab demands tartan track

LAHORE, Dec 31: Punjab Olympic Association (POA) has urged the government to provide a tartan track for the Punjab Stadium which is being built at the Nishter Park in front of the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.

The POA secretary Khawaja Idrees Haider expressed his concern over the unnecessary delay in importing a tartan track for the stadium which is almost near completion.

The POA secretary said that the required funds were available and the base for the track was ready since April 30.
