KARACHI, Dec 30: President Gen Pervez Musharraf said here that the government of Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali will complete its five-year term.

Talking to APP here on Monday after his meeting with the Prime Minister at Karachi Airport, the president said he was very happy that Premier Jamali has secured vote of confidence in the National Assembly.

“I am very happy. It is good for Pakistan and the government of Prime Minister Jamali will complete its tenure of five years”, President Musharraf said. It will ensure stability in the country, he added.

Replying to a question about his meeting with the Prime Minister, the president said both the leaders discussed bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

“We have discussed about the visit of Prime Minister Jamali to Saudi Arabia”, Gen Musharraf said.

On this occasion, Mr Jamali said he wanted to learn from the experience of President Musharraf who had been visiting Saudi Arabia for promotion of bilateral relations for the last three years.

About the agenda of his visit to Saudi Arabia, the prime minister said he will discuss bilateral issues with the Saudi leadership including promotion of economic relations.

“I will discuss whatever is in the interest of Pakistan. I will also discuss economic relations with the Saudi government”, he added.—APP
