KASUR, Sept 30: The police on Sunday recovered the body of a seven-year-old boy who was kidnapped for ransom at Badth Kalan village a few days ago.

On Saturday, the family received a call asking them to arrange Rs500,000 ransom for the release of the boy and they agreed on Rs200,000.

Hadayat Ali gave the amount to one of the kidnappers at the specified place but they promised to hand over the child by Saturday night. They however killed the boy.

They later arrested the suspect.According to police, kidnapper Azad alias Mansha was the shopkeeper where the boy went to purchase some eatables.
