Mehran boxing from 28th

KARACHI, Sept 14: The three-day all Sindh Mehran Friendship Cup boxing tournament which was scheduled to commence here from Friday has been postponed due to heavy rains across the province.

According to the Sindh Boxing Association, the competition which will feature pugilists from Karachi, Hyderabad, Mirpurkhas, Larkana and Sukkur, Sindh Rangers and KPT, now takes place from Sept 28.

The event will also form criteria for selection of Sindh team for the National Games.

Apart from the tourney, a referees and judges course will also be organised concurrently.—Sports Correspondent
