Perched on a strategically high-value position, the geopolitics of Gilgit Baltistan offers a dynamic dimension to its importance on the global arena. Brushing against its boundaries are the emerging economic engines of the world.

Gilgit Baltistan is a fascinating and alluring region, administratively divided into seven districts, each with natural splendours and ranges of Hindu Kush, Himalayas and Korakoram.

The vast landscape of China assumes a physical touch with the frontiers of Khunjarab. The historical Silk Route offers a drive from the factories of China into the markets of Gilgit, covering the total length of Pakistan. The thinly crafted corridor of Wakhan brushes against the rich culture of Ghizer, offering an entry point into Afghanistan.

Whereas, the exotic culture of India meets the widespread fields of Baltistan and Astore on the southeastern borders.

The geographical distribution of this region has a magnetic effect on the geopoliticians and strategists of the world. A mesmerising spot is witnessed on the highway to Juglot where the three massive ranges of the Himalayas, Hindukush and Korakoram converge with a flowing body of river Indus in front of their junction.

The second highest plateau of the world in Baltistan encompasses a swath of grass carpet dotted with belts of multi-hued flowers and roses. This is hypnotising.
