KARACHI: Rangers arrested seven suspects during a targeted operation in Karachi’s Moach Goth area, DawnNews reported on Friday.

Moreover, one person was shot dead when unknown assailants opened fire in the city’s Shershah area.

A spokesman for Pakistan Rangers Sindh said the seven persons were arrested during a targeted operation in Brohi Mohalla and Sheikh Mohalla areas of Moach Goth.Moreover, weapons were also recovered from the possession of the arrested suspects, the spokesman said.

Separately, in the city’s Orangi Town area, a 28-year-old-man received gunshot wounds during a robbery.

Moreover, two persons were wounded in incidents of firing in Karachi’s old Sabzi Mandi and Ghaas Mandi areas.

On the other hand, the East Range police arrested 33 suspects from various localities in the city, sources said. Ten guns, snatched motorcycles and mobile phones and narcotics were also recovered from the suspects’ possession.
