LARKANA, Aug 17: A man shot dead his brother on the pretext of karo-kari in Nazar Mohalla here on Friday and later surrendered at Rehmatpur police station along with the weapon used in the offence.

Sultan Buledi, a labourer, told police that he had killed his brother Sudheer when he saw him and his (Sultan’s) wife Seema in an objectionable condition.

Seema escaped and took shelter in her father’s house, he added.

Body was handed over to relatives after completion of legal formalities.

An FIR had been lodged against Sultan on behalf of the State at the Rehmatpur police station.
