Cricket tournament

LANDI KOTAL, Aug 13: Friends Eleven qualified for the semi-final of Dr Abdul Hamid Memorial Cricket Tournament by defeating Saqib Club in the first quarterfinal of the tournament played at Baz Garha in Kamarkhel area of Bara.

Batting first Saqib Club made 89 all out. Chasing the target, Friends Eleven achieved the required target in eleven overs. Khalid Khan with highest score of 41 runs was adjudged man of the match.

A total of sixteen local teams participated in the tournament. Final will be played on Eid Day.—Correspondent
