CHAKWAL, Aug 10: A man was gunned down in Maingan village over a marriage dispute on Friday.

According to sources, five years ago the younger brother of Iqrar Hussain married the daughter of Mohammad Yaqub without his will. The love marriage sparked enmity between the two families which kept on simmering.

Iqrar Hussain was giving a tough time to the in-laws of his brother. On Friday he went to Chakwal city.

When he was returning to his village he was ambushed by Mohammad Yaqub, his son Khawar Mehmood, brother Basheer Hussain and nephew Kashif Mehmood. The four persons opened fire on Iqrar killing him on the spot.
