ABBOTTABAD, Dec 21: Elected representatives and traders have shown resentment over the inclusion of some municipal committee areas in the cantonment.

In this connection, a protest meeting was held here on the other day which was addressed by the representatives of different traders associations and union Nazimeen. The meeting was presided over by Dlair Dil Khan, president of traders association, The Mall.

The speakers opposed the cantonment authorities action.

At another meeting, the Nazimeen of three urban union councils and the Nazim of Town Council also criticized the step.

They demanded of the director of Military Land Acquisition to take necessary action and demarcate the cantonment limits according to a survey of 1962.—Correspondent
