KARACHI, Dec 20: The mausoleum of Quaid-i-Azam will remain closed for the public on Dec 24 for cleaning and restoration work in the wake of the Quaid’s birth anniversary celebrations on Dec 25.

The mausoleum remains closed on every Monday.

The mausoleum’s resident engineer, Mohammad Arif, said that the mazar would also remain closed from 8am to 10am on Dec 25 for the official ceremonies.

The entry fee, which normally is Rs3 for an adult and Rs2 each for a child, has been changed for the occasion and Re1 would be charged per head after 11am.
