ADMISSIONS in the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore are announced after the admission process has been closed in other engineering institutions like NUST, GIKI, FAST, etc.

Candidates who expect admissions in the University of Engineering and Technology, but are not sure, have to lose a heavy admission amount not less than Rs100,000 to retain admission in one of the other institutes till they succeed in getting admission in one of the universities of engineering and technology whether at Lahore or Taxila. Most of the candidates prefer the University of Engineering and Technology due to its repute and low-fee structure.

It is requested to conduct admissions within a similar time frame for all engineering institutions so that candidates can avail an equal opportunity, according to their choice, ability and financial status.
