NAWABSHAH, July 28: President Asif Ali Zardari, who arrived here on Saturday on a short visit, called for timely completion of development projects.

He was talking to elected representatives and the PPP office bearers at the Nawabshah airport soon after his arrival there in the afternoon.

Later, the president flew to the Ballu Ja Qubba graveyard by helicopter. He laid floral wreaths on the graves of his father Hakim Ali Zardari, mother Bilqees Begum and other relatives and offered fateha.

District PPP president and MPA Ghulam Qadir Chandio, taluka president Ziaul Hassan Lanjar and Haji Ali Hassan Zardari accompanied him.

APP adds: President Zardari then travelled to Ghari Khuda Bukhsh near Naudero and visited the graves of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto. He laid floral wreaths on the graves and prayed for the departed souls.

He also visited the graves of Mir Shahnawaz Bhutto and Mir Murtaza Bhutto.
