GUJRANWALA, Dec 18: The district police claim to have arrested 93 proclaimed offenders besides busting half a dozen gangs of dacoits and robbers during the last 48 hours.

SSP Saud Aziz said here on Wednesday that police also recovered 14 rifles, 15 guns of 12 bore, 112 pistols and revolvers, seven carbines, 595 cartridges, and looted goods worth Rs3.37 million from their possession.

He said police also seized 5kg hashish, 1,233 grams of heroin and 202 bottles of liquor from the custody of drug-traffickers.
