KARACHI: Man found dead in Liaquatabad

KARACHI, Dec 18: A man was found dead in his house in Liaquatabad on Wednesday night. Mystery surrounds the death of the man.

Police said that the body of Jameel Farooqui, aged 52, was found lying in a pool of blood with his throat slit in his house at F. C. Area.

The body was sent to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for post-mortem.

Sources at the hospital said that Farooqui was killed by some one, but the family sources claimed that he committed suicide by slitting his throat.

A young man died when he fell from the roof of an under-construction building in Malir at night.

Police said that a labourer, Abdul Hadi, aged 46, fell from the roof of an under-construction bungalow in Usmanabad, Malir. He died on the spot.

The body was sent to the JPMC for post-mortem.

FOUND DEAD: A man was found dead in Gulshan-i-Iqbal early Wednesday morning.

Police said that body of an unidentified man, who was in his mid-40s, was found in a street in Block-4 of Gulshan-i-Iqbal. Bread slices were also found beside the body. There was no apparent mark of injury on the body. It was sent to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for autopsy.
