KARACHI, Nov 21: Nazim Karachi Naimatullah Khan has issued directives to the officials concerned to remove hurdles in the construction of major roads in Orangi town area.

The order was issued by the Nazim following his meeting with Nazim Orangi Town, Mohammad Shahid Alam and Naib Nazim Sheikh Mohammad Feroz who along with a delegation called on him at his office on Wednesday.

They informed Naimatullah Khan that a majority of Orangi people were facing problems owing to the bad condition of Shahrah-i-Orangi and Shahrah-i-Qaddafi. Work on these two projects took off in 1998 under the long-life road project plan.—PPI/APP
