Burglary

HYDERABAD, June 24: Gold ornaments were stolen  from a jewellery shop in Tilak Charhi here on Saturday night.

According to the FIR lodged by the owner of the shop, Abdul Raheem, burglers took away 800 tolas of gold.

They also left a note in the shop — “keep quiet if you want to remain alive”. A bottle of alcohol was also found.

SHO of City police station Tariq Khanzada said jewellery had been kept in a cabinet and its lock was opened with keys. The stolen jewellery was not kept in a safe.—Staff Correspndent
