LARKANA, June 19: A lady health worker was shot dead by her brother-in-law in Laloorounk on Tuesday.

Usman Patoojo entered the house of Imamudin Patoojo and killed Aisha Patoojo, 35.

He later went to Qambar and fired at Nisar Shabrani, a landlord, accusing him of having illicit relations with the woman.

Nisar was admitted to the Chandka Medical College Hospital with bullet injuries in the legs and chest.

The woman’s brother, Imamudin, lodged an FIR at the Waggan police station against Usman and eight other people who had allegedly abetted the crime. He said that his sister was not involved in any objectionable activity.

No arrest was made till late Tuesday evening.
