SAHIWAL, June 16: Police have arrested three men who allegedly killed a teenaged boy in 108/9-L village.

According to the Dera Rahim police, Basharat, Ashraf and Noor Muhammad killed Mazhar (13) after he refused to surrender to their sexual desires.

His body was found in a canal near 108/9-L on Saturday morning, 24 hours after he went missing. Mazhar was grazing his goats in the fields outside his village when the three men approached him.

STRANGLED: A woman strangled her husband who was insisting on second marriage in 81/5-L village.

Mukhtaran (35) married Abdul Majeed 14 years ago and has four children with him -- two daughters and two sons.

Majeed had been insisting on second marriage for the last one year, but his wife opposed his plan. She drugged Majeed a couple of days ago, strangled him and buried his body in a pile of solid waste.

Majeed’s brother on Friday called police, which questioned Mukhtaran and she confessed to her husband’s murder.

Police recovered Majeed’s body, sent it for an autopsy and registered a case against Mukhtaran.
