KARACHI: Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his Dutch partner Jean-Julien Rojer reached the semi-final of the Halle Open on Wednesday.

The Pak-Dutch pair beat Johan Brunstrom of Sweden and Marx Phillip of Germany 7-6 (7), 6-7 (1) , 10-7 to qualify for the semi-finals.

In the first round they defeated German duo Benjamin Becker and Phillip Petzschner 6-4, 6-7 (2), 12-10.

Qureshi, who is ranked at number 15, won the Halle Open in 2011 with Rohan Bopanna of India.
