Afghan minister calls on Kasuri

ISLAMABAD Dec 13: Pakistan has reiterated and reassured its commitment to be part of the international efforts for the reconstruction of Afghanistan.

This was stated by the Foreign Minister Khushid Mahmood Kasuri during his meeting with the visiting Afghan minister for refugees, Inayatullah Nazari, who called on him at the foreign office on Friday.

He said that Pakistan was committed to play its role in the efforts to rebuild Afghanistan, a country devastated by civil war.

Earlier, the Afghan minister thanked Pakistan for being host to a large number of Afghan refugees for more than two decades.

He emphasized that both the countries share inseparable cultural and historical bonds.
