KARACHI: Seven cars, 12 bikes hijacked

KARACHI, Dec 11: Nineteen vehicles — seven cars and 12 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Wednesday, police said.

Three cars were hijacked. Four others were stolen.

Five motorcycles were hijacked. Seven others were stolen.

Police also claimed on Wednesday to have recovered 11 vehicles — six cars and five motorcycles — in the city.

SUICIDE: A young man committed suicide in Clifton early Wednesday morning.

People visiting Bagh-i-Ibn Qasim found a young man hanging from a tree and informed police. Police said the young man, Saghir Khan, aged 20, hanged himself from a tree.

A note was found in his pocket which showed that the young man committed suicide because of failure in love. He was resident of Natha Khan goth.
