RAWALPINDI: A judge of the Anti-Terrorist Court in Rawalpindi on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto murder case till April 28.
The judge adjourned hearing of the case owing to the absence of the public prosecutor. The statements of around 15 witnesses have already been recorded by the court so far in the former prime minister’s assassination case.
Benazir Bhutto was assassinated in a gun-and-bomb attack outside Rawalpindi’s Liaquat Bagh on Dec 27, 2007. She was killed after addressing an election campaign rally in the city.
Meanwhile, ATC judge Shahid Rafique has also adjourned the hearing of Mumbai attack case without any further proceedings till April 28.
The hearing of an application of filed by former President Pervez Musharraf’s wife Sehba Musharraf against the ATC’s verdict in which court had ordered the confiscation of all moveable and immoveable property her husband has also been adjourned April 28.
