LAHORE, April 6: Inspector General of Punjab Police Mohammad Habibur Rahman constituted on Friday a high-level committee headed by Additional IG (Investigation) Aslam Tareen.

Two senior DIGs will also be the member of this committee that will review the charges leveled by Zulfiqar Baloch, member of BNP (Mengal Group), alleging that Punjab police was allegedly involved in the kidnapping of the Baloch.

After completing the fact findings of this matter the committee will submit its report to the IGP.

TRANSFRER/POSTING: The Punjab IGP on Friday issued transfer/posting orders of three police Officers.

According to a notification, Mansoorul Haq, awaiting posting, was transferred and posted as Additional SP (Cantonment Division, Multan). Nasir Mukhtar Rajput, awaiting posting, was transferred and posted as SP (Investigation Branch, Punjab) and Ms Shahida Kausar, Senior Traffic Officer, Rawalpindi was transferred and posted as SP, Punjab Highway Patrolling (Rawalpinidi), against vacant posts.
