SUKKUR, March 30: Jacobabad police recovered four people, including two teenage boys of Dasti community who were kidnapped from an agricultural field near Juma Khan Dasti village near Jacobabad.

SSP Zafarullah Dharejo told a press conference on Friday that the hostages were recovered from Jacobabad-Shikarpur border areas.

He said that Zahoor Dasti of Juma Khan Dasti village was involved in the kidnappings and said that police first arrested him being suspect harbourer and then conducted raids in light of information gleaned from him.

He said that Jagan area in Shikarpur district was a safe haven for criminals who fled towards the area at the border of Jacobabad and Shikarpur districts after committing different crimes.

He said that the boys were recovered without payment of ransom. Police knew kidnappers and would soon take action against them. Police were preparing to launch an operation against those involved in kidnapping.

He said that overall law and order was better in Jacobabad but criminals from other districts came to Jacobabad to commit crimes.

He said that a Hindu girl Aasha Kumari would also be recovered soon.

Two real brothers Lakhmir and Deeadar, sons of Nek Muhammad Dasti, their cousin Shahid Dasti and Ramzan Dasti were kidnapped three days ago while they were working at a field in Juma Dasti village.
