TAXILA, March 26: Hassanabdal police claimed to arrest a robber and recover the loot from his possession.

Police sources said two masked men scaled the wall of the house of a Khurram Ali Shah in Mohallah Khawaja Nagar on early hours of Monday and made all family members hostage on gun point.

They also subjected inmates to severe torture on resistance. However, as they were escaping with booty including cash, gold ornaments and cell phones, the family members informed the police who intercepted and nabbed one of them. — Correspondent
