LAHORE, March 21: The Pakistan Squash Circuit-I tournament entered its quarter-finals stage after eight matches were decided here on Wednesday.

Only three matches went the full distance of five sets with Mohammad Saqib Yousuf defeating Waqar Mehboob 12-10, 5-11, 9-11, 11-7, 11-2 in a 48-minute battle.

In another thrilling match, Danish Atlas Khan ousted Shoaib Hassan 8-11, 11-9, 7-11, 11-1, 11-8 while Farhan Zaman toppled Nasir Iqbal 11-8, 7-11, 7-11, 11-4, 16-14.

All the quarter-finals will be played on Thursday, with the semi-finals on Friday and the final on Saturday.
