I SUPPORT former president Pervez Musharraf because quality of life was much better than what we have now under the democratic government where loot and corruption is the order of the day.

Mr Musharraf has rightly asked in a recent TV interview why Rehman Malik does not issue red warrants for those Baloch leaders who are bent on destroying Pakistan and want separation from Pakistan.

The government must realise Musharraf’s contribution to the country and allow him to come to Pakistan to face the courts and other institutions.

Mr Musharraf is right. Rehman Malik at the behest of his superiors wants to divert the attention of poor Pakistanis from the real socio-political issues which are the gift of the present government.

In this backdrop, Musharraf’s dictatorship was much better than the so-called feudal-based democracy.
