KARACHI, Dec 3: Twenty-five vehicles — seven cars and 18 motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Tuesday, police said.

Three cars were hijacked. Four others were stolen.

Eight motorcycles were hijacked. Ten others were stolen.

Police also claimed on Tuesday to have recovered six vehicles.

ROBBERY: Bandits robbed a young man of his mobile phone at gunpoint on I. I. Chundrigar Road on Saturday.

Zulfiqar Shah lodged an FIR at Civil Lines police station, stating that two armed men held him at gunpoint and robbed him of his cell phone, in front of a newspaper office.

ACCIDENT: An unidentified young man died in a road accident on Super Highway on Tuesday.

Police said a long-trailer collided with an Islamabad-bound passenger bus near Toll Plaza.
