KARACHI, Feb 24: Sindh Governor Dr Ishratul Ibad on Friday inaugurated a double-storey underground car park and the recently restored Baradari Park.

Speaking to the media after the inauguration ceremony, he said that development work on three new parks — Polo Ground Park, Jehangir Park and Orangi Town Park — would begin within a few weeks.

He said that a proper plan for Jehangir Park, Saddar, with an improved design was ready and the work on a car parking facility at Shahabuddin Market would also be completed soon. The Parking Plaza would also be made operational after declaring various roads in the Saddar area ‘no parking zones’, he added. A traffic plan for Nazimabad No.7 had also been made and would be implemented by March 10, he said.—PPI
